CAREER HISTORY

P.S.195 Rosedale, Studio in a School. Student and I completed two large scale murals on the exterior walls of the school. Unfortunately, the murals were later vandalized and painted over.

2007, founded, with my husband, Frank Manzo, the Longyear Gallery in Margaretville NY. Longyear Gallery is aNot-For-Profit, 501c3 organization managed by artists serving Delaware County, NY,and surroundings.

2012 Artist Studio Tours. 2017–AMR was launched reviving artist studio tours. Envisioned AMR as an umbrella organization open to all artists in the area; with pop-up shows and a variety of workshops open to all. Our motto is, to quote Albert Einstein “Creativity is contagious, pass it on.”

Taught Art in after school program at Beth Elohim, Garfield Temple, Brooklyn.

2016 Adjunct Brooklyn College, taught Creativity in the Classroom.

St. John’s University, Adjunct in Queens, and Staten Island. Taught Creativity on the Classroom.

P.S. 224 Sites Program, Public Art for Public Schools. Mosaic Mural honoring the artist HaleWoodruff. This was a collaboration with students studying Woodruff’s work and focusing on the painting JumpingDouble Dutch. The Mural is 12 feet by 15 feet and is in the school entrance hall (images available).

Awarded Tile Project at PS224Brooklyn Sites Program, Public Art for Public Schools-The Tile Project was incollaboration with students, inspired by animals from their native lands. The Tile ProjectAnimals All Aroundis 4located in the Kindergarten Hall (images available).
